This is the reason why I ignore Wolf Stance, Gladiator’s Dominance, Kingdom of Shadow charm, and opt for boots with no/low move speed. I recommend not going above 10 move speed. Ideally, you want a slow WW to land as many hits as possible per cast. There’s a short delay before you can recast WW, so you lose dmg if you do several short distances instead of long ones. If your move speed is high, WW goes through enemies too fast and low amount of hits land. Whirlwind hits enemies 12 times per second. You can disable reanimates with the Rest-in-Peace cube recipe. I recommend to not use a merc, reanimates, or effects that stun enemies (like the reward skill Thundergod). To kill faster, have enemies surround you rather than chasing your allies around. Whirlwind damages in a small AoE around you. Also, when the game detects you are dual wielding, orange text on both weapons is disabled. However, if you were to get these on armor or charms, both weapons will benefit (except for atk speed). Procs, atk speed, life on atk, max & min dmg, atk rating, ewd, deadly strike, all do not help the other weapon. Weapons don't share their “physical dmg” stats with the other weapon (str/dex does work, however). In fact, loma is what will keep you alive in the lategame. This gives huge value to “on atk” procs and life on melee atk (loma). This means you have a source of dmg every 2 frames. Each of those weapons swing every 4 frames. While your barb is dual wielding, each weapon hits enemies in alternance: weap1-weap2-weap1-weap2, etc.
